This report outlines the findings from a retrospective servce audit across mental health services in the North West region. The report aims to provide an understanding of the real benefits of localised approaches to stepped care service provision for treating common mental health problems (including anxiety and depression) within the following communities: Salford, Chester, Manchester and Ashton, Leigh & Wigan. A brief overview of stepped care is offered in ‘What is Stepped Care?’ on page 8.

This report describes the findings from an evaluation of Computerised Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (cCBT) across the NHS and Thrid Sector. The findings offer Commissioners key learning on the 'boosters' and 'blockers' to the effective implementation of cCBT. The recommendations outline a range of factors which accelerate innovation and improvement, as well as highlight the risks, barriers and slow down factors which affect implementation.
